Heritage

GAIN has always wished to promote the unique culture and heritage of the Western Isles. For example the maze has carvings many based on local fauna and heritage

In 2003 GAIN secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund under the Young Roots program where we worked with a group of young people to design heritage items to include in the park and run heritage activities and events.
