A minibeast workshop was held in the summer of 2006. Julie Sievewright, the Ranger for the Galson Estate Trust, worked with GAIN and a group of around 20 local youngsters who learned some interesting facts about Bugs and Beasties. They explored the park collecting and identifying minibeasts from traps and searched out their favoured habitats. The session was rounded off with some Beastie Games which all the younsters enjoyed.
